See "Completing the parts replacement" on page 132. 11. Turn on the computer and all attached devices. Note: When the computer is turned on for the first time after replacing the battery, an error message might be displayed. This is normal after replacing the battery. 12. Use the Setup Utility program to set the date, time, passwords, and any other configuration information. See Chapter 6 "Using the Setup Utility program" on page 43. CAUTION: The heat sink and fan assembly might be very hot. Turn off the computer and wait three to five minutes to let the computer cool before removing the computer cover. To replace the heat sink and fan assembly, do the following: 1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer. 2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 106.
