Screen reader applications Screen reader applications can read out software application interfaces, help systems, and a variety of online documents. If you need this feature, go to Google Play or Lenovo App Shop to download a screen reader application. Getting updates Your tablet provides automatic notification for updates available for the Android operating system and updates available from Lenovo. Getting updates from Lenovo Your tablet is preinstalled with a notification application that informs you about the latest software updates from Lenovo. The application icon is displayed in Lenovo Launch Zone only when there are unread system notifications from Lenovo. See "Using Lenovo Launch Zone" on page 11. Touch the icon to open a message box to check for detailed information about the updates, and then follow the instructions to update your tablet if you want. Getting updates from Android Your tablet receives automatic notifications when updates are available for the Android operating system. When you receive an Android update notification, touch Install now, Install later, or More info from the pop-up options menu when the auto-notification is displayed. You also can check for updates manually. To check for the latest updates, do the following: 1. Open Android Settings and touch About tablet ➙ System updates ➙ Check for updates. 2. A screen opens and displays all the available updates from Android. Note: If there is no update available, you will see a message stating that your system is up to date. 3.
