4227-300 Auto Sheet Feeder problems Symptom Auto Sheet Feeder will not feed paper. Auto Sheet Feeder double feeds. Auto Sheet Feeder has intermittent feed problems. Paper skews. Action Be sure Auto Sheet Feed is set to On in the Paper Handling Option Menu. Be sure the paper select lever is in the cut sheet position. Go to the "Auto Gap service check" on page 2-11. Isolate the problem by removing the Auto Sheet Feeder and then feed paper using the manual feed tray. Go to the "Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF) service check" on page 2-13. 6XX Error indications Symptom 6XX Machine Check is displayed. Action Turn the printer off and then on. Go to "Error indication table" on page 2-1. Diagnostic information 2-5
