Instructs the printer to run the setup wizard Notes: • Yes is the factory default setting. • After completing the setup wizard by selecting Done at the country or region select screen, the default setting becomes No. Sets paper sizes to use the standard US sizes, which may also be used in other countries, or to use metric sizes Notes: • US is the factory default setting. • Changing this setting also changes the Units of Measurement setting in the Univeral Setup menu and the default size value for each paper source (tray or feeder) in the Paper Size/Type menu. Sets an alarm to sound when the printer requires operator intervention Notes: • Off is the factory default setting for Cartridge Alarm. Off means no alarm will sound. Cartridge low appears on the display. • Single sounds three quick beeps. 88 Cartridge is low appears on the display. Sets the amount of time the printer waits after a job is printed before it goes into a reduced power state Notes: • 30 minutes is the factory default setting. • Lower settings conserve more energy, but may require longer warm-up times. • Select the lowest setting if the printer shares an electrical circuit with room lighting or you notice lights flickering in the room. • Select a high setting if the printer is in constant use. Under most circumstances, this keeps the printer ready to print with minimum warm-up time.
