File storage media. • flash • flash1 Enclose in quotation marks all fname specifications and limit to 127 characters only. Fname is composed of a file name, a unique identifier for a file, and a file type. The format is filename.filetype. Filename must be one of the following: • macro ID-PCL macros • symbol set ID-PCL symbol sets • font ID-PCL fonts • actual filename-data, Type 1 fonts, demo files (case sensitive) Filetype must be one of the following: • tl-PostScript font • sFnt5-PCL scalable font • bFnt5-PCL bitmap font • MAC5-PCL macro • data-User data • type1-PostScript font • demo-Demo • p5scalable-PCL scalable font • p5bitmap-PCL bitmap font • p5macro-PCL macro • p5symset-PCL symbol set • ppdsbm-PPDS bitmap font • xlmacro-PCL XL user stream The location in the file to begin writing or reading.
