Printing the Character To print the ampersand symbol, send the following command sequence: - print one character command - print character x26, ASCII 38 - ampersand Designing Monospaced Draft Characters When designing monospaced draft characters, design the character for 10 cpi output and use as many dot-columns as possible. This method also creates a better designed 12 cpi draft character. To design a draft character, start with a grid that is 9 dots wide by 24 dots high.
