16 Conserving supplies Conserving supplies lowers printing costs. • When printing drafts, conserve toner by changing the Toner Darkness setting to a value less than 8 in the Local Printer Setup Utility or in the printer driver. For more information, see Using the Local Printer Setup Utility. • Reduce paper consumption by using the duplex feature to print on both sides of the paper. Set the printer to Duplex in the printer driver for individual print jobs or in the Local Printer Setup Utility for all print jobs. 65
