Transducer connection All HDS Gen3 displays have internal CHIRP, Broadband and StructureScan sonar. Navico transducers fitted with the 7 pin blue connector can be plugged directly into the corresponding blue socket labeled 'Sonar'. The 9 pin black StructureScan connector can be plugged in to the socket labelled 'Structure'. Refer to the Overview section of this manual, or embossed labeling on the unit for connector location.  Note: The connector attached to the transducer cable is keyed, and can only be inserted in one orientation. Once inserted, turn locking collar to secure.  Note: The HDS StructureScan port is designed for use with the LSS-2 transducer. Earlier LSS-1 transducers may however be connected through use of an adaptor cable - contact your Lowrance dealer for more information. Transducer connection
All HDS Gen3 displays have internal CHIRP, Broadband and
StructureScan sonar. Navico transducers fitted with the 7 pin blue
connector can be plugged directly into the corresponding blue
socket labeled ‘Sonar’. The 9 pin black StructureScan connector
can be plugged in to the socket labelled ‘Structure’. Refer to the
Overview section of this manual, or embossed labeling on the unit
for connector location.
Note:
The connector attached to the transducer cable is keyed, and
can only be inserted in one orientation. Once inserted, turn locking
