BIOS Setup Exit The following sections describe each of the options on this menu. Note that does not exit this menu. You must select one of the items from the menu or menu bar to exit. Exit Saving Changes W hen you want to quit the Setup menu, you can select this option to save the changes and quit. Exit Discarding Changes W hen you want to quit the Setup menu, you can select this option to abandon the changes. Load Setup Defaults The option allows users to restore all of the BIOS settings to the Optimal Defaults. The Setup Defaults are the default values set by the mainboard manufacturer specifically for the optimized performance of the mainboard. Discard Changes The option allows users to restore all of the BIOS settings to previous values. Save Changes The option allows users to save the changes without exiting Setup. 3-21

Exit

to exit.
Exit Saving Changes
When you want to quit the Setup menu, you can select this option to save the
changes and quit.
Exit Discarding Changes
When you want to quit the Setup menu, you can select this option to abandon the
changes.
Load Setup Defaults
The option allows users to restore all of the BIOS settings to the Optimal Defaults. The
