The standard PCI Express x16 slot supports up to 4.0 GB/s transfer rate. But the onboard PCI Express x16 slot only supports x8 signal with up to 2.0 GB/s transfer rate. The PCI Express x4 slot supports up to 1.0 GB/s transfer rate.
