• Balance and Load: Washing a single big and heavy garment such as towels, jeans, jackets etc. may cause an unbalanced load. Therefore, it is suggested to add one or two more clothes to be washed together to prevent unbalance and to allow smooth and complete draining. (Refer to Figure 17.) Figure 17 CHECK LIST AND PREPARATION FOR DRYING CLOTHES Read these operating instructions carefully to avoid any damage or issues with the dryer and to clothes. ALWAYS follow instructions on fabric care labels in clothing articles for proper care. For most even drying, make sure all articles in the clothes load are similar in material and thickness. DO NOT overload your dryer. Items must be able to tumble freely. See "Washing and Drying Capacity" below for further instructions on the capacity of your dryer. NOTE: Dryer capacity is roughly half of washer capacity. It is recommended to shake out clothing articles before drying them to reduce excessive wetness and avoid wrinkling. WASHING AND DRYING CAPACITY Washing Capacity DO NOT overload the washing machine as it may negatively affect the washing capabilities. See the chart of Maximum Loading Capacities. Fiber Type Cotton Synthetic Wool Maximum Washing Capacity 7.7 lbs. (3.5 kg) 5.5 lb.s (2.5 kg) Maximum Drying Capacity 7.5 lbs. (3.4 kg) 3.8 lbs. (1.7 kg) 2.7 lbs. (1.2 kg) Drying Capacity NOTE: The capacity of the machine for washing clothes is up to twice as much as when drying clothes. If the machine is to be used to dry a load, then the wash load must be reduced by half for effective drying performance. If a full load is washed, remove half the clothes prior to starting the dry cycle. 20
