When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following: 1. The product is for household and indoor use only. 2. Never leave the heater unattended while it is in use. Always turn the product to the OFF position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when not in use. 3. Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even from a low height. 4. Choose an appropriate location. It must be sturdy, big enough, level, stable and far away from in flammable materials and items (e.g. curtains, furniture, doors, etc.). Maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 m. 5. The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight or strong vibrations. 6. A safety switch at the bottom of the heater automatically shuts off the heater when it is lifted off the floor or tips over. 7. Despite the safety switch there is a risk of fire when the heater tips/falls over! Furthermore, this could result in personal injury or damage to the product. 8. Never use the heater in vehicles and similar moving objects or spaces; it is only suitable for use in buildings. 9. Unwind the mains cable completely during operation. The power cable must not be pinched or damaged by contact with sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the cable, and do not allow it to become kinked. 10. Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust, flammable gases, vaporous or solvents. There is a danger of fire and explosion! 11. The heater will remain hot for some time after it is turned off. Please handle with care. 12. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory o r mental capabilities o r lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. 13. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. 14. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed o r installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance. 15. Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
