MA1NTENANCE CAUTIO N : Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before attempting to perform inspection or maintenance. Lubrication Before operation, lubricate the contact point of the center blade and the side blades R/L. And, also lubricate the point of the center blade near the cutting head. To keep good cutting performance, also use lubricant from time to time during operation. Side blade L -I Lubricate Side blade R I Center blade To maintain product SAFETY and reliability, repairs, any other maintenance or adjustment should be performed by Makita Authorized or Factory Service Centers, always using Makita placement parts. 8
