1.10 Filter Cleaning system VC4210L: The extractor/vacuum is equipped with an automatic filter cleaning system that removes most of the fine dust from the filter element. To ensure that suction performance is operating at optimal performance, the filter element is automatically cleaned during operation. Manual cleaning by removing the filter is recommended if the filter element becomes extremely dirty. VC2512L and 3012L: The extractor/vacuum is equipped with a semi-automatic push and clean filter cleaning system that removes most of the fine dust from the filter element. To ensure that suction performance is operating at optimal performance, the filter element need to be cleaned with the push and clean button time by time. In particular, electrical tests for earth continui-ty, insulation resistance, and condition of the flexible cord should be checked frequently. In the event of any defect, the machine MUST be withdrawn from service, completely checked and repaired by an authorized service technician. At least once a year, a Makita technician or an instructed person must perform a technical inspection including filters, air tightness and control mechanisms.
