Replacing cutting head for capacity, gauge 16 Optional Accessory

Removing cutting head Use the hex wrench to loosen the three screws which secure the cutting head. Pull the cutting head straight out to remove it with turning it left and right alternately. 1. Tighten 2 3 4 009016 Insert the cutting head into the tool with turning it left and right alternately. Then tighten the three screws with the hex wrench. Replacing cutting head for capacity of gauge 16 (Optional Accessory) 1. Remove the cutting head. (Refer to the section titled " Removing cutting head ".) 009019 Remove the three screws which hold the cutting head. When removing the second screw, be careful not to fall the sleeve. Then the blades can be removed easily. When removing the blades, hold the blades and the sleeve so that they do not fall from the cutting head. Installing shear blades 009050 2. Loosen the bearing assembly with provided wrench while keeping the spindle still by grabbing the two flat parts on the spindle still with another wrench. 1 2 1. Cutting head 2. Sleeve 3. Side blade R 4. Center blade 5. Side blade L 6 6. Screws 3 4 5 004690 Install the sleeve and tighten the three screws after inserting the center blade, side blade L & R into the cutting head. In this process, the screw heads should be protruding 2 - 3 mm from the cutting head surface. If you will tighten the screws excessively, the cutting head cannot be installed to the tool. Installing cutting head CAUTION: • Secure the cutting head firmly. Otherwise it can rotate during operation and can cause serious injury. 009051 3. Remove the bearing assmbly (thin one) and screw the bearing assembly for gauge 16 onto the spindle and firmly tighten it with the provided wrench while keeping the spindle still by placing another wrench on the two flat surface on the spindle. 4. Install the optional cutting head by referring to the section titled " Installing cutting head ". CAUTION: • Do not confound the bearing assembly provided on the tool (thin one) with that for cutting head for capacity of gauge 16 (Optional Accessory). The bearing assembly provided on the tool is thin while that for cutting head for capacity of gauge 16 (Optional Accessory) is thick. 6

Removing cutting head
Use the hex wrench to loosen the three screws which
secure the cutting head. Pull the cutting head straight out
to remove it with turning it left and right alternately.

Remove the three screws which hold the cutting head.
When removing the second screw, be careful not to fall
the sleeve. Then the blades can be removed easily.
When removing the blades, hold the blades and the
sleeve so that they do not fall from the cutting head.

Install the sleeve and tighten the three screws after
inserting the center blade, side blade L & R into the
cutting head. In this process, the screw heads should be
protruding 2 - 3 mm from the cutting head surface.
If you will tighten the screws excessively, the cutting
head cannot be installed to the tool.

the bearing assembly for gauge 16 onto the spindle
and firmly tighten it

keeping the spindle still by placing another wrench on
the two flat surface on the spindle.

Install the optional cutting head by referring to the
section titled " Installing cutting head ".
CAUTION:
