Electrical Connection Power Supply Cord Direct Wire Electrical Connection Options 1. . Be sure that the wire insulation on the power supply cord is inside the strain relief. The strain relief should have a tight fit with the dryer cabinet and be in a horizontal position. Prepare your 4-wire cable for direct connection EC 31 (89 ⁄2m" m) (251m" m) B (127 5" mm) Direct wire cable must have 5 ft. (1.52 m) of extra length so dryer may be moved if needed. Connect neutral wire C 3. Prepare your 3-wire cable for direct connection (251m" m) B (893m½m" ) Direct wire cable must have 5 ft. (1.52 m) of extra length so dryer may be moved if needed.
