If you experience Possible Causes Solution Error Code Appears in Display Once any possible issues are corrected, press CANCEL/DRAIN once to clear the code. Reselect and restart the cycle. A09 (Water Inlet Problem) appears in display and system will pause No water or insufficient water supply. Unplug washer or disconnect power. Both hoses must be attached and have water flowing to the inlet valve. Both hot and cold water faucets must be on. Inlet valve screens on washer may be clogged. Remove any kinks in the inlet hose. Check if water inlet hoses are frozen. Plug in washer or reconnect power. Press and hold START to continue the cycle or press and hold CANCEL/DRAIN to cancel the cycle. If the problem remains, call for service. A 1 0 (drain pump system error) appears in display Unplug washer or disconnect power. Not using HE detergent or using too much HE detergent. Check drain hose for proper installation. Make sure the drain hose is not kinked, pinched, or blocked. Remove any clogs from drain hose. Use drain hose form and securely attach to drainpipe or tub. Lower drain hose if the end is higher than 55" (1.4 m) above the floor. Use only HE detergent. Always measure detergent and follow manufacturer's directions based on load size and soil level. F 0 1 - F 3 0 appears in display Electrical problem. Turn knob to OFF or press and hold START to cancel the cycle. Select DRAIN/SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer. Re-select cycle and press START. If the problem remains, call for service. Vibration or Off-Balance Vibration, rocking, or "walking" Feet may not be in contact with the floor and locked. Washer may not be level. Load could be unbalanced or too large. The shipping bolts are still in the back of the washer. Front and rear feet must be in firm contact with floor, and washer must be level to operate properly. Jam nuts must be tight against the bottom of the cabinet. Check floor for flexing or sagging. If flooring is uneven, a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood under your washer will reduce sound. See "Level the Washer." Avoid tightly packing the load. Avoid washing single items. Balance a single item such as a rug or jeans jacket with a few extra items. Item or load not suitable for selected cycle. See "Cycle Guide" and "Using Your Washer" in this "Use and Care Guide."
