OPERATION TURNING THE POWER ON/OFF HOLD SWITCH 1 1 Turn the unit on by pressing the Power/ Play/Pause ®p button; the Memorex start screen will appear in the display temporarily. Then "Play All" will appear in the display. To turn the unit off, press and hold the Power/ Play/Pause ®p button; "Shutting Down" will appear in the display. With the unit on, slide the HOLD switch to the Hold position (down); no buttons will function. This is useful when you do not want the track changed by accidentally pressing a button. Slide the HOLD switch to the normal (unlocked) position (up) to cancel the Hold function. HEADPHONES JACK Plug the headphones (included) into the Headphones jack on the top of the unit. 18

TURNING THE POWER ON/OFF
HOLD SWITCH
With the unit on, slide the HOLD switch to the Hold
position (down); no buttons will function. This is
useful when you do not want the track changed by
accidentally pressing a button. Slide the HOLD
switch to the normal (unlocked) position (up) to
cancel the Hold function.

Plug the headphones (included) into the Headphones jack on the top of the unit.
