OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PLAY A CD 1 2 2 1 Slide the FUNCTION switch 1 to the CD position to turn the unit on and select CD. Open the CD compartment door by pressing the CD Door OPEN button 2. Place a CD on the center spindle, with the printed label side facing up. Close the CD compartment door. 3 1 Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button; playback will start automatically and the Play indicator will appear in the display. 4 2 Adjust the VOLUME control 1 and XBASS button 2 as desired. Press the X-BASS button to the in position to enhance the overall bass sound. Press to the out position for normal bass sound. 5 Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button again to pause playback; the Play indicator will blink. Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button once again to continue playback; the Play indicator will stop blinking. 6 1 2 1 2 To skip forward or backward through the tracks on the disc, press the Skip/Search o 1 or n 2 button.
