Turning on or off the TV SET-UP BOX Preparation Perform the following steps before you turning on the TV SET-UP BOX. 1. Insert the batteries into the remote control unit. (See page 13.) 2. Connect the antenna/cable signal to TV SET-UP BOX . (See page 14) 3. Plug in the AC cord to the AC outlet. Turning on the power 1. Press the STANDBY button on the front panel or the remote control. Power indicator ON Standby Lighting(Green) Lighting(Red) Turning off the power 1. Press the STANDBY button on the front panel or the remote control. 2. If you are not going to use this TV SET-UP BOX for a long period of time, you can plug out the AC cord from the AC outlet. Screen Saver If no signal is being received or the signal is very weak, Screen saver is automatically activated after 2 minutes. "Press any button to continue" will appear on the screen until you take an action to dismiss it. Power Management TV SET-UP BOX will automatically switch to the standby mode when there is screen saver activate for 4 hours. Setting the Sleep Timer You can select a time period of between 30 and 240 minutes after which the TV SET-UP BOX automatically switches to standby mode. 1.
