OPERATION CONNECTING THE MICROPHONE(S) This unit has two microphone jacks which will allow you to sing along with your favorite songs. Before connecting, make sure the MIC VOLUME control is set to minimum. ECHO CONTROL AUTO VOICE CONTROL (AVC) Rotate the ECHO control clockwise to increase the echo or counterclockwise to decrease the echo. 11 When the AVC feature is activated, the vocals on a multiplex recording are muted as soon as the singer begins singing into the microphone. When the singer stops singing, the vocals are automatically unmuted. Adjust the AUTO VOICE control for the best balance between playback and microphone levels. IMPORTANT: This feature is only compatible with karaoke music content. 11 MIC ON/OFF SWITCH BALANCE CONTROL To turn the microphone on, slide the ON/OFF switch, located on the side of the microphone, to the ON position. To turn the microphone off, slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. NOTE: Increasing the MIC VOLUME control on the unit will increase the volume of the microphone. NORMAL PLAYBACK: Rotate the BALANCE control clockwise to decrease the left speaker's sound or counter-clockwise to decrease the right speaker's sound. KARAOKE PLAYBACK: 1 Rotate the BALANCE control clock1wise to decrease the music sound or counterclockwise to decrease the vocal sound level. NOTE: For multiplex CDs or iPod Karaoke files, if you would like to hear the vocal and music tracks at an equal level, set the BALANCE control to the center position. 7

NORMAL PLAYBACK:

Rotate the BALANCE control clockwise to decrease the music
sound or counterclockwise to decrease the vocal sound level.
NOTE:
For multiplex CDs or iPod Karaoke files, if you would like
to hear the vocal and music tracks at an equal level, set the
BALANCE control to the center position.
BALANCE CONTROL
To turn the microphone on, slide

position.
To
turn
the
microphone off, slide the ON/OFF
switch to the OFF position.
NOTE:
Increasing the MIC
VOLUME control on the unit will
increase
the
volume
of
the microphone.
