Use Turning on ^ Make sure the spray arms can rotate freely. ^ Close the door. ^ Open the water supply, if closed. ^ Turn the dishwasher on "s". The "Start/Stop" indicator flashes and the indicator of the last program run lights up. Selecting a program Choose your program according to the type of load and soiling. The "Program guide" describes the programs and use. Starting a program ^ Select the desired program with the "Program" button. The indicator of the selected program lights up. ^ Press the "Start/Stop" button. The program starts. The indicators "Start/Stop", "Cleaning" and the last selected program light up. Program sequence display After a program has been started the current stage of the program is indicated by the program cycle indicator. Standby DA few minutes after the last key is pressed or at the end of the program the dishwasher will switch into Standby mode to save energy. The display and the indicators are turned off and only the Start/Stop indicator light flashes slowly. ^ To turn the display back on press the Start/Stop button. If refill salt and/or rinse aid or a fault are present in the display, the dishwasher will not switch to Standby mode. Cancel a program only within the first few minutes. Otherwise important program steps could be interrupted. 26
