Models with a rotary selector dial: The vacuum in-operation indicator lights up red. Models with + / - buttons: The overheat indicator lights up red.  Switch the Powerbrush and vacuum cleaner off. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.  Check the vacuum cleaner for any blockages and check all the filters. After removing the blockage, wait about 20 - 30 minutes before using the vacuum cleaner to allow it to cool down. The red light indicates a roller blockage, e.g., as a result of a large item being vacuumed up.  Switch the Powerbrush and vacuum cleaner off. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.  Remove the blockage. The vacuum cleaner can then be used again.
