Cleaning and care Burners The burners can be dismantled and cleaned when cool. ^ Remove the burner parts and wash them in a solution of hot water and liquid dish soap. Dry them thoroughly. Make sure that the flame holes are clean and completely dry. ^ Wipe the burner base clean with a damp cloth and then dry. ^ Gently wipe the ignitor and ignition safety control with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe dry. Reassembling the wok burner Make sure that no liquid gets into the appliance. Reassembling the normal and fast burners a b ^ Place the burner cap, a, onto the burner base, b, so that the notches fit into the holes (see arrows). After cleaning the burner reassemble in the correct order: ^ Place the burner head d onto the burner base g, making sure that the thermocouple e and ignitor f align through the holes in the burner head. The notch a on the burner cap must securely fit into the recess of the burner b. The notch c on the burner must securely fit into the recess in the lower part of the burner base d. ^ Fit the burner ring c. ^ Seat the burner caps a and b into place. ^ Put the grates in place. Be careful not to mix up the parts. 18
