1.5 Setting the display language On the corded base: 1. Press MENU and then +/- to select SETTINGS. 2. Press MENU and then +/- to select LANGUAGE. 3. Press MENU and then +/- to select the desired language. 4. Press MENU to save the setting. On the cordless handset: 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select SETUP HS. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select LANGUAGE. 3. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select the desired language. 4. Press MENU to save the setting. 1.6 Setting the date and time On the corded base: 1. Press MENU to select DATE & TIME. 2. Press MENU and then +/- to change the year setting. 3. Press MENU and then +/- to change the date setting. Repeat to set the time continuously. 4. Press +/- to toggle AM/PM settings 5. Press MENU to save the settings. On the cordless handset: 1. Press MENU to select DATE & TIME. 2. Press MENU and then use the keypad to edit the year and the date. 3. Press VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- or PHONEBOOK or RIGHT/CALLS LIST to move between the input fields YEAR and DATE. 4. Press MENU and then use the keypad to edit the time in 12HR format. 5. Press VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL-to toggle AM/PM settings. And use PHONEBOOK or RIGHT/CALLS LIST to move the cursor to the target input field. 6. Press MENU to save the settings. NOTE If you have subscribed to your network provider's Caller ID service, date and time will be automatically set when a call is received. Your phone is now ready for use. 10 Getting started
