MK2290 RF Network Configuration C - 27 Transmit Power The Transmit Power drop-down list contains different options for Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure mode. Automatic (i.e., use the current AP settings) and Power Plus (use higher than the current AP settings) are available for Infrastructure mode. Adjusting the radio transmission power level enables you to expand or confine the transmission coverage area. Reducing the radio transmission power level reduces potential interference to other wireless devices that might be operating nearby. Increasing the radio transmission power level increases the range at which other wireless devices can "hear" the radio's signal.
