TROUBLESHOOTING Symptom No Power Hearing other noises or conversation on a channel Message Scrambled Try This... Recharge or replace the Li-Ion battery. Reposition or replace AA batteries. Extreme operating temperatures may affect battery life. Refer to See "About the Li-Ion Battery" on page 14. Confirm Interference Eliminator Code is set. Frequency or Interference Eliminator Code may be in use. Change settings: either change frequencies or codes on all radios. Make sure radio is at the right frequency and code when transmitting. Refer to "Talking and Monitoring" on page 29 Scramble Code might be ON, and/or setting does not match the other radios' settings. Radio settings might not be matching up correctly.
