Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology that allows you to connect wirelessly to a number of Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled handhelds, computers, printers, and wireless phones. The Bluetooth communication range is usually up to approximately 10 meters (30 feet). By default, your device's Bluetooth feature is turned off. Turning Bluetooth on makes your phone "discoverable" by other in-range Bluetooth devices. To turn Bluetooth on or off: 1. Press S Settings/Tools > Tools > Bluetooth. 2. Press Options (right softkey). 3. Highlight Settings and press S. 4. Highlight the Bluetooth Power field and press S. 5. Use your navigation key to select On or Off, as desired and then press S. 6. Press Done (left softkey) to save your settings. Note To extend battery life, set Bluetooth power to Off when not in use. Section 2L. Bluetooth 123
