WPS870G User Guide The printers attached to the WPS870G are displayed along with basic information. Click Refresh to update the status of the printers. Network Settings Network Settings allows you to change how you want to log on to the WPS870G. Network Setting Click Network Settings to access the window. The Network Settings window is displayed: You have two options at this point, either DHCP or Set IP Address. If you are using a router with a DHCP server that has assigned an IP address to the WPS870G, then select DHCP. Motorola recommends this approach because there is less management involved. Otherwise, select Set IP Address and type the necessary information. Item Description IP Address Type the IP address you want to assign to the WPS870G. If you require assistance in determining a static IP address, refer to Before You Begin, a Choice. Subnet Mask A subnet mask specifies a particular IP network or a host within a sub-network.
