Manage link aggregation Both the Orbi Pro WiFi 6 Mini router and satellite support link aggregation, which lets you set up a link aggregation group (LAG) between the router and a satellite, between two satellites, between the router and a switch, or between the satellite and a switch. The switch must support 802.3ad link aggregation for static LAGs. A LAG connection allows you to group two 1 Gbps LAN ports into either a single 2 Gbps connection for increased throughput or a 1 Gbps connection for redundancy. Link aggregation is enabled by default on the router and the satellite, so you do not need to configure it. However, you must configure link aggregation on the switch before you make the cable connections to the router or switch.
