Connecting to a Computer The supplied USB cable can be used to connect the camera to a computer. Once the camera is connected, the supplied software can be used to copy photographs to the computer, where they can be browsed, viewed, and retouched. The camera can also be used with Nikon Capture 4 Version 4.4 or later (available separately), which supports batch processing and more advanced image editing options and can be used to control the camera directly from the computer. To ensure that data transfer is not interrupted, be sure the camera battery is fully charged. If in doubt, charge the battery before use or use an EH-6 AC adapter (available separately). If PTP is selected when the camera is connected, the Windows hardware wizard will be displayed. Click Cancel to exit the wizard, and then disconnect the camera.
