Connecting to a Computer The supplied USB cable can be used to connect the camera to a computer. Once the camera is connected, the supplied software can be used to copy photographs to the computer, where they can be browsed, viewed, and retouched. The camera can also be used with Nikon Capture 4 Version 4.4 or later (available separately), which supports batch processing and more advanced image editing options and can be used to control the camera directly from the computer. Before Connecting the Camera Install the necessary software after reading the manuals and reviewing the system requirements. To ensure that data transfer is not interrupted, be sure the camera battery is fully charged. If in doubt, charge the battery before use or use an EH-6 AC adapter (available separately). Reference—Connecting to a Computer
The supplied USB cable can be used to connect the camera to a computer.
Once the camera is connected, the supplied software can be used to copy pho-

Before Connecting the Camera
Install the necessary software after reading the manuals and reviewing the sys-
tem requirements.
To ensure that data transfer is not interrupted, be sure the
camera battery is fully charged.

Before connecting the camera, set the USB option in
