To limit the range of autofocus (See page 24 for usable cameras.) • With AF operation, if the subject is more than 8 m (26.2 ft) (AF-S 500mm)/10 m (32.8 ft) (AF-S 600mm) away, set the En focusing limit switch (Fig. 2) to ∞-8 m (AF-S 500mm)/∞-10 m (AF-S 600mm) to reduce focusing time. • If the subject is sometimes 8 m (26.2 ft)/10 m (32.8 ft) or closer, set it to "FULL." • This function is only compatible with autofocus.
