Smile Timer Enter smart portrait mode M d button M Smile timer M k button The camera detects people's faces and then automatically releases the shutter whenever a smile is detected. Option a On (default setting) k Off Enables the smile timer. Turns the smile timer off. Description The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting mode (A 8). No icon is displayed when Off is selected. Of the two shots, the image in which the subject's eyes are more open compared to the other shot is saved. Option y On k Off (default setting) Description Enables the blink proof. Flash cannot be used when On is selected. If the camera saved an image in which the subjects eyes may have been closed, the dialog shown on the right is displayed for a few seconds. Turns the blink proof off. A blink was detected in the picture just taken. The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting mode (A 8).
