Shoot View Connect The Setup Menu Technical Notes Charging: The camera is equipped with a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery which is not charged at shipment; before use, charge the camera using the supplied charging AC adapter (A 2). Charge at ambient temperatures between 5 °C (41 °F) and 35 °C (95 °F); at temperatures below 0 °C (32 °F) or above 60 °C (140 °F), the camera will not charge. Attempting to charge the camera while its internal temperature is elevated will impair performance, and the camera may not charge or charge only partially. Wait for the camera to cool before charging. Continuing to charge the camera after it is fully charged can impair battery performance. ❚❚ Memory Memory cards can not be used. Formatting camera memory permanently deletes all data it contains. Be sure to copy any pictures or other data you wish to keep to a computer prior to formatting. Do not turn the camera off or disconnect the charging AC adapter while memory is being formatted, images are being recorded or deleted, or data are being copied to a computer. Failure to observe this precaution could result in loss of data or damage to the camera. The temperature of the camera may rise during charging, but this does not indicate a malfunction. Caring for the Camera: Cautions
Charging
: The camera is equipped with a built-in rechargeable

Continuing to charge the camera after it is fully charged can
