Shooting Options: The Shooting Menu Interval Timer Photography Pictures are taken automatically at specified intervals. Choose an interval of 30 s, 1 min, 5 min, or 10 min. 1 Tap Intvl timer shooting in the Continuous menu. Continuous Intvl timer shooting 2 Tap the desired interval between shots. The maximum number of pictures varies according to the specified interval. 30 s: up to 600 pictures 1 min: up to 300 pictures 5 min: up to 60 pictures 10 min: up to 30 pictures Set interval time 30 s 1 min 5 min 10 min Shooting, Playback and Setup Menus 3 Tap f to exit the menu. The camera returns to shooting mode. 4 Press the shutter-release button all the way down to take the first picture and initiate interval timer shooting. Monitor turns off and power-on lamp blinks between shots. The monitor turns on automatically right before the next shot is taken. 18 5 Press the shutter-release button all the way down again to end recording. Recording will end automatically if the internal memory or memory card becomes full, or when the maximum number of pictures have been taken.
