Charging the Battery Insert the battery and charge it with the AC Adapter EH-64 (supplied) before first use or when the battery is running low. 2 4 3 1 First Steps 1 Connect the power cable and AC adapter 1. 2 Turn off the camera. Once the clock is set, Picture Bank (c 144) will start when the AC adapter is connected, and the camera will attempt to upload pictures to the my Picturetown server. Press d to cancel picture upload and charge the battery. Picture Bank can be set so that it does not start automatically when the AC adapter is connected (c 145). 5 The battery begins charging. The power-on lamp net to the power switch will blink orange as the battery charges. If the lamp flickers rapidly, the AC adapter is not correctly inserted or the battery is faulty. Reinsert the AC adapter or replace the battery. 16 A fully exhausted battery will recharge in about two hours.

First Steps
Charging the Battery
Insert the battery and charge it with the AC Adapter EH-64 (supplied) before
first use or when the battery is running low.

Connect the power cable and AC adapter

If the power-on lamp (green) is lit, press the power
switch to turn off the camera.
You cannot charge
the battery while the camera is turned on.
