18. PC connectivity You can send and receive email, and access the Internet when your phone is connected to a compatible PC through an infrared, Bluetooth, or USB data cable (CA-53) connection. You can use your phone with a variety of PC connectivity and data communications applications. ■ USB data storage You can use the USB data cable to transfer data between the memory card inserted in the phone and a compatible PC. See USB data cable p. 75. After transferring data, ensure that it is safe to unplug the USB data cable from the PC. ■ Nokia PC Suite With Nokia PC Suite you can synchronize contacts, calendar, notes, and to-do notes between your phone and the compatible PC or a remote Internet server (network service). You may find more information and PC Suite on the Nokia Web site at www.nokia.com/support. ■ Data communication applications For information on using a data communication application, refer to the documentation provided with it. Making or answering phone calls during a computer connection is not recommended, as it might disrupt the operation. ■ (E)GPRS, HSCSD, and CSD With your phone you can use the enhanced GPRS (EGPRS), general packet radio service (GPRS), high speed circuit switched data (HSCSD), and circuit switched data (CSD, GSM data) data services.
