The availability of the different settings items in Settings wizard depends on the features of the phone, SIM card, wireless service provider, and the availability of the data in the Settings wizard database. If Settings wizard is not available from AT&T, it may not appear in the menu of your phone. To start the wizard, select Start. When you use the wizard for the first time, you are guided through the settings configuration. If there is no SIM card inserted, you need to select the home country of your service provider, and your service provider. If the country or service provider suggested by the wizard is not correct, select the correct one from the list. If the settings configuration is interrupted, the settings are not defined. To access the main view of the Settings wizard after the wizard has finished the settings configuration, select OK. If you are not able to use Settings wizard, see the Nokia phone settings website or contact AT&T. ■ Profiles In the Profiles menu, you can adjust and customize the phone tones for different events, environments, or caller groups. You can see the currently selected profile is displayed in the standby mode. If the Normal profile is in use, only the current date is displayed. Select > Settings > Profiles. To activate the profile, select the profile and Activate. Tip: To quickly switch profiles, press the power key, and select from a different profile. To quickly change to the Vibrate profile from any other profile, in the standby mode, press and hold #. To customize a profile, scroll to the profile, select Options > Customize, and the desired settings. To set the profile to be active until a certain time within the next 24 hours, select Timed and the length of time. When using the offline profile, the phone is not connected to the cellular network. If no SIM card is installed, to use some functions of the phone, start the phone in offline. Important: In the offline profile you cannot make or receive any calls, or use other features that require cellular network coverage. Calls may still be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your phone. To make calls, you must first activate the phone function by changing profiles.
