• To deactivate the loudspeaker: Press Options and select Handset, or press Handset if available. If a compatible car kit, such as the CK-1W, or headset, such as the HS-3, is connected to the phone, the Handset option is replaced with Handsfree or Headset, and the selection key Handset changes to Handsfr. or Headset, respectively. ■ Using the voice key The voice key is located above the volume keys on the side of the phone. This key can be used for voice recording, voice dialling and voice commands. To use the voice key for voice dialling, see pages 38 and 87. To use the voice key for voice commands, see page 125. These functions can be used only in standby mode. Voice recording You can record for example a name and a phone number and write them down later. Press the voice key to start voice recording. When recording, hold the phone in the normal position near to your ear. To stop the recording, press the voice key. The recording is saved in the Recordings folder of the Gallery menu, see page 109. Voice recording can be used also during a call (press Options and select Record). While recording a call, all parties to the call hear a faint beep approximately every five seconds.
