3 BASIC COPY MODES Selecting Finishing Mode Finishing modes and optional finishing devices See the table below for each finishing mode. Finishing mode Description Non-sort Non-staple Copies exit without being sorted or stapled. Sort ( P.78) Copies exit in the same page order as the originals one set after another. Group ( P.78) Copies grouped by page exit. Rotate sort ( P.80) Copies exit set by set alternately in a different direction. Staple sort ( P.81) Copies exit with their corner stapled. Magazine sort ( P.85) Copies exit in a book-type page order. Center fold ( P.85) Copies exit in a book-type page order with their center folded. Saddle stitch ( P.85) Copies exit in a book-type page order with their center folded and stapled. Magazine sort & center fold ( P.85) Magazine sort and center fold are used together. Magazine sort & saddle stitch ( P.85) Magazine sort and saddle stitch are used together. Hole punch ( P.88) Copies exit with their side punched. Manual staple ( P.90) Copies are stapled manually. The available finishing modes differ depending on the type of optional finishing devices (Finisher and Hole Punch Unit) installed. Finishing devices available for this equipment are as follows: Finisher y Inner Finisher MJ-1036 (for ES9455 MFP and ES9465 MFP) y Finisher MJ-1107 (for ES9475 MFP Series) y Saddle Stitch Finisher MJ-1108 (for ES9475 MFP Series) Hole Punch Unit y Hole Punch Unit MJ-6007 (for Inner Finisher MJ-1036) y Hole Punch Unit MJ-6104 (for Finisher MJ-1107 and Saddle Stitch Finisher MJ-1108) Job Separator y Job Separator MJ-5004 (for ES9455 MFP) y Job Separator MJ-5006 (for ES9475 MFP Series) The Job Separator cannot be installed when the Inner Finisher MJ-1036 is installed. 74 Selecting Finishing Mode
