8 [Administration] Tab Page Setting up SLP Session When SLP is enabled, this equipment becomes a Service Agent that responds to requests from a User Agent for searching particular services and registers services to a Directory Agent. The SLP setting only supports the print services shown below. Raw TCP print, LPD print, IPP print, WSD print, SMB print, FTP print About the "printer-location" attribute of SLP SLP has an attribute called "printer-location" as one of the services provided. The information of "printer-location" is the device setting information on the [General] submenu of the [Setup] menu on the [Administration] tab page, and that of the [Location] field of [Device Information] on the [Device] tab page. Turn the equipment off and on if you have changed [Location] from TopAccess. [Enable] is set as the default. Set TTL (Time To Live, a scope in the network that provides SLP service). This is to enable the communication among User Agents and Directory Agents located on different networks. Set this for specifying the scope of groups that provide SLP services. The default value is "DEFAULT".
