Chapter 4 Focusing Auto focus When you place the AF target mark on a subject and press the shutter button halfway, the green lamp lights up. This means that focusing is being performed automatically. If the green lamp blinks, focusing is not correct. If this happens, use Manual focus (P. 63) or Focus lock (P. 59). If you run into problems, try the procedure below. Conditions 1, 2 and 5 Auto focus may not work properly. The green lamp may blink.
