Ⅵ Number of still pictures that can be stored on an 8MB card HQ record mode (1600x1200): Approx. 16 2 SQ record mode (640x480 NORMAL): Approx. 82 Ⅵ To zoom in on a subject, press the Zoom lever towards T. To shoot a wider picture, press the Zoom lever towards W (P. 44). Zoom lever Ⅵ Using Auto-flash (P. 73, 77) 1 Press the (flash) switch to raise the flash. 2 Press the Shutter button halfway. The flash fires automatically in low-light conditions. The flash is charging when blinks. Wait until stops blinking, then press the Shutter button. 3 Press the Shutter button all the way. The flash fires. ● If you do not want to use the flash or if the camera is turned off, close the flash manually.
