Glossary of terms TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Color Monitor A transistor color monitor constructed using thin-film technology. TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) A format used for saving highly detailed black and white or color image data. TIFF image files can be handled by software programs for scanners and graphics applications. This camera uses TIFF in an uncompressed format. TTL (Through-The-Lens) System To help adjust exposure, a light receptor built into the camera directly measures the light passing through the lens. TTL-AUTO For use with an external flash.
