Use with incorrect voltage may cause fire or electric shock. Connect the power cord correctly/safely If the power cord is plugged in loosely, it may cause a fire or electric shock. Push the plug all the way into the outlet. Make sure that excessive dust and debris do not accumulate on the power cord Dust and debris may conduct electricity, which can cause fire and electric shock. If excessive dust and debris accumulate on the cord, unplug the cord and clean it. Always unplug the power cord during an electrical storm The induced electricity from storms may cause fire, electric shock, or printer malfunction. Do not hold the power plug with wet hands Doing so may result in fire, electric shock, or printer malfunction. Be sure your hands are dry before handling. Plug the printer directly into an outlet Avoid overloading outlets with use of extensions and adapters, etc. Do not move the printer when the power cord is taut Moving the printer when the power cord is taut may damage the cord.
