RC-427S TEST TONE button Use this button to adjust the level of each speaker. 1 PARAMETER SELECTOR 2 PARAMETER CONTROLLER PARAMETER SELECTOR or 3 PARAMETER CONTROLLER or Speaker setup Before operating your stereo system, you need to set the type and position of the connected speakers. 1. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR® button once to display the subwoofer parameter. 2. Press the PARAMETER CONTROLLER √/® buttons to select "YES" if a subwoofer is connected, or select "NO" if a subwoofer is not connected. 3. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR® button to display the front speaker size parameter, and press the PARAMETER CONTROLLER √/® buttons to select "LARGE" or "SMALL" according to the speaker size. LARGE: Select this for large, wideband speakers. SMALL: Select this for small speakers with limited bass signal handling. • If you have selected "NO" for the subwoofer in step 2, you can select only "LARGE" for the front speakers.
