Making antenna connections II Outdoor antenna Indoor antenna 300 ohms l..--. ribbon wire Connecting the antennacable to the 75/300 ohni ritennaV adapter (1iVorldwi e el Connecting a 300 ohm ribbon wire: Loosen the screws and wrap the wire around them. Tighten the screws with a screwdriver. 1 2 3 Connecting a coaxial cable: 1. With your fingernail or a small screw- driver, press the stoppers outward and remove the cover. Slit B 15mm 2. Remove the transformer wire A from slit B and insert it into slit C. 3. Prepare the coaxial cable as shown in the Wire A diagram. Connect the 75/300 ohm antenna adap- Slit C tor to the coaxial cable. D Insert the end of the cable. ® Clamp it in place with pliers. 4. Re-install the cover. • This adapter is included if your receiver is a worldwide model. II Directional linkage type splitter To TX-DS555 To TV (or VCR) Directional linkage Do not use the same antenna for both FM and TV (or VCR) reception since the FM and TV (or VCR) signals can interfere with each other.
