Basic operation MUTING /RE SPEA nnann n -n-7n' nnann nnnan rSr,aRa anM SLEEP MUTING 1. ty Press to set the power-off timer. The sleep timer is a function that turns off the power to the system after a certain period of time. When this button is pressed, "90 MIN" is displayed for five seconds, and the power will go off 90 minutes later. Each time the button is pressed within fi ve seconds, the timer setting changes in 10 minutes increments (e.g. 80, 70, 60 ...). While the sleep timer is operating, the SLEEP indicator is lit. If you press the sleep button during this time, the amount of time remaining on the timer is displayed, and if you press the button during that display, 10 minutes will be subtracted from that time. If you press the button when the panel display indicates 10 minutes or less, the sleep timer will be cancelled, and the power will not be turned off. . . • Muting the sound (Remote Controller ty ) This button temporarily switches off the sound from the speakers or headphones by operating this unit's audio muting circuits. The MUTING indicator will flash. Pressing the button again or using the POWER button on the remote control to turn the power on will turn off the audio muting. Audio muting using this button does not affect the sound of the multi-source (Remote speakers). Press the SPEAKERS REMOTE to mute the sound of the multi-source. 21
