Listening to the Radio-Continued ■ Tuning into Stations by Frequency You can tune into AM and FM stations directly by entering the appropriate frequency. D TUN 2 (Actual display depends on country.) The [RECEIVER] button flashes. Within 8 seconds, use the number buttons to enter the frequency of the radio station. For example, to tune to 87.5 (FM), press 8, 7, 5. Note: While the [RECEIVER] button is flashing, the input source cannot be changed by using the remote controller. Presetting AM/FM Stations and XM Channels PRESET STANDBY/ON STANDBY PHONES TUNING PRESET MULTI CH DVD VIDEO 1 VIDEO 2 VIDEO 3 TAPE TUNER C D ENTER RETURN SETUP SPEAKERS A B VCR TONE STEREO LISTENING MODE DIGITAL DISPLAY INPUT TUNING DIMMER MEMORY MODE CLEAR MASTER VOLUME VIDEO 3 INPUT VIDEO L AUDIO R MEMORY TUNING MODE You can store a combination of up to 40 of your favorite AM/FM radio stations and XM channels as presets. 1 Tune into the AM/FM station or XM channel that you want to store as a preset. See page 42 to select XM channels. 2 MEMORY Press the [MEMORY] button. The MEMORY indicator appears and the preset number flashes. 3 TUNING PRESET While the MEMORY indicator is displayed (about 8 seconds), use the PRESET [ ]/[ ] buttons to select a preset from 1 through 40. ENTER 4 MEMORY Press the [MEMORY] button again to store the station or channel. The station or channel is stored and the preset number stops flashing. Repeat this procedure for all of your favorite AM/FM radio stations and XM channels. ■ Selecting Presets 1 TUNING PRESET To select a preset, use the PRESET [ ]/[ ] buttons, or the remote controller's CH [+/-] but- ton. ENTER CH DISC ALBUM ■ Deleting Presets 1 Select the preset that you want to delete. See the previous section. 2 TUNING MEMORY MODE CLEAR While holding down the [MEMORY] button, press the [TUNING MODE] button. The preset is deleted and its number disappears from the display. 39
