IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: • READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before using. • To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put appliance in water or other liquid. • Surfaces are HOT. Do not touch surfaces that may be hot. Always use hot pads or potholders until unit cools. • Use handles and knobs provided. • Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning. • Do not operate this appliance or any other electrical equipment with a damaged cord or plug, or after the unit malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Customer Service (see warranty) for examination, repair, or mechanical adjustment. • The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury. • Do not use outdoors. • Always check that the control is off before plugging cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the control knob to Off, then remove plug from wall. • Do not place near hot gas/electric burner or heated oven. • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. • It is recommended that this appliance not be moved when it contains hot oil or other hot liquid. • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. • Do not use appliance for other than intended use. • DO NOT USE PLASTIC DISHES OR PLASTIC WRAP ON TRAY.
